While Comart had already used remove.bg into their workflow for image background removal, the process was far from optimal. Each image had to be uploaded and processed individually, a time-consuming endeavour. However, each image took an average of 3 minutes to upload, process and download individually. Users can effortlessly download the processed images to their local machines whenever required.
With the new system, Bulk processing reduces the time per image to just 10 seconds per image. For the same batch of 100 images:
Time with bulk processing= 10 seconds/image×100 images= 16.5 minutes
The new system saved Comart 283.3 minutes for every batch of 100 images processed.
Leveraging the remove.bg API ensured high-quality results.
The team could process 16 times more images in the same amount of time.
